Captain's Welcome

Message from the Captains Andrew Thompson and Fiona Parkinson

We are honoured to have been asked to be Club Captains for 2026 and we look forward to welcoming you to Cleethorpes Golf Club.

Cleethorpes Golf Club is a friendly Club for all golfers, regardless of age, experience or handicap, with thriving senior, mens, ladies and junior sections.

We are proud to have an excellent and challenging course which is kept in top condition by a team of grounds staff, led by our Head Greenkeeper. Whilst our clubhouse provides a great environment to relax for golfers and non golfers alike.

Our club also boasts two golf professionals who offer a fully stocked shop as well as tailored golf lessons for all abilities, both on the course and within their golf studio.

Our goal during our Captaincy is to maintain the Club’s ethos of being open and inclusive to all members, both new and old.

Our chosen charity this year is Sunflowers Children’s Action Group. They are a locally based charity run by a team of volunteers who aim to provide support, activities and respite for children with life limiting or life-threatening illness and their families, giving opportunities to make very special memories for those going through the toughest of times.

With our reputation for inclusivity and friendliness, we invite you to join us and experience what we both consider to be a relaxed and warm environment.

Happy Golfing!

Andrew and Fiona
